My goal is to raise $3,000 for Shining Hope for Communities through a bSmart product line that I developed and a fundraising event the week of August 11th!

Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) combats extreme poverty and gender inequity by linking schools for girls to a set of high-value, holistic community services for the urban poor. Currently they work in two communities in Kenya.

The product line will be available in the bSmart Market after this weekend! I am currently working on planning the event, working on event flow and event PR + marketing. I would love suggestions/advice/feedback and let me know if anyone is interested in helping with this fundraising event in any way!
