the tiny yellow

circles the circus ring
beeping its horn
stopping
the doors fly open
clown after clown
emerges
yellow polka dots
purple pants
eight red noses
16 floppy feet
jostling
punching
nudging
laughing
waving to children
they drift away
my little brown Toyota
circled once, twice
and stopped
in center ring
here,
let me get the door.
